Happy Thanksgiving to All.....

Maggotx' 2007 Turkey Dinner

Time for a break after 2 days of Disc Golf.....

Started out on Tuesday, playing with Cubby and Time E. at Green Acres......Cubby's putting has been awesome .....Tim made a nice warm lunch of beef stew for a cold and rainy day.....

The next day after picking up Miggy G.from college, we headed out to Rutgers to meet Cubby attired in semi-terrorist garb......Although we both had good drives overall, Cubby's putting put him in double digit below par range......a range I unfortunately could not attain.....It was nice getting up at the crack of dawn to play with Miggy G and Cubby.....

Cubby continued playing DG and travelling to Philly et. al.....for more of Cubby's Disc Golf adventures visit his site at :

HOLY CRAP..!!!... We all know that Wall Stret is Full of Freakin' LOSER Clowns ,,,BUT Common'....!!!

If you've thought Wall Street is being run by a bunch of clowns, yesterday you were right on the money.

Members of the Big Apple Circus took the reins of financial power by ringing the opening bell at the New York   Stock Exchange.

The exchange invited Grandma the Clown and Master of Ceremonies Carrie Harvey to both honor the circus' 31st season of entertainment and perhaps bring a bit of Main Street levity to traders battered by a collapsing market.

After ringing the bell, Harvey and Grandma wandered the floor trying to spread joy and merriment, placing funny red noses on exchange officials to touch the funny bones of even the most shaken traders.

But by the end of a roller-coaster day of trading that saw the Dow Jones industrial average whipsaw from 300 points down to just above even and then right back down to finish off 337 points, good humor was in short supply.

"What can I say? The market ended down nearly 350 points. Even the Big Apple Circus clowns couldn't help," said Eckhart & Co. trader Peter Costa as he trudged off the floor.

HOLY CRAP.....Talk about a Monster Wave...!!!!!!

The moment surfer takes on 41-foot monster wave... and lives to tell the tale

A daredevil surfer is pictured tackling a giant 41 foot wave in a bid to win himself a prestigious award.

Kerby Brown took on the monster during a session at a top secret reef, and nearly didn't live to tell the tale.

Moments after these pictures were taken, he suffered a devastating wipeout which nearly killed him.

Congratulations and Best of Luck to President Elect Obama and his Family

First Family
President-elect Barack Obama, his wife, Michelle and two daughters, Malia, 7. and Sasha, 10, wave to the crowd in Chicago.

Regardless of your politics, lets all wish Barack a successful Presidency. Lets hope that he will indeed be a Uniter and not a Divider. Hopefully he will rule as a moderate Democrat and reach to the the Republican party in a Bi-partisan manner. Our nation's problems cannot be solved by two sides hating each other. It's time we all came together. The whole world awaits......mag

Friday AM Disc Golf at Green Acres

This last Friday we were lucky enough to have a day off...first Tim E., Tom K. and I planned on a long travel date to Far-Away courses in Delaware or Pennsylvania, but after consideration settled on just local game-play at Green Acres.....we immediately called Cubby, Rob & Don.....Cubby, being the night bird, showed up at 6:30 am....after feasting on Maggotx Donuts we played several rounds with the course locals..... Don showed up with his McDonald's BIG BREAKFAST....(see picture above).

Afterwards Tom K, showed up and after a tasty lunch of grilled burgers we all settled in for some serious Tag Play....in spite of a strong challenge from Tim, Cubby tore up the course record and took home the coveted #1 Tag.

Here is a picture of the "gang" after round #2 after our lunch.....

Tim's greedy Pet Egret drank down half my India Pale Ale.......

Green Acres Disc Golf

Above; Cubby, Tim E., Maggotx, and Taint' Mike....

For the first time in a while, The Man, The Legend, Cubby, stopped by for Sunday AM rounds at Green Acres.

The #1 Tag and #3 tags held by Cubby and Tim E. were in play.  After the first round Tim snagged the #1 tag from Cubby and yours truly snagged the #3 tag from Tim E.  After the second round things changed,  Tim kept the #1 tag, Cubby stole the #3 tag from me and I ended up with the low tag after losing to Taint' Mike...   Oh well It was a Great Day of Disc Golf.... Thanks to all the loyal Disc Golfers who showed up.... and a Hearty Bronx Cheer to those who were invited but opted to stay in bed and Sleep.....

Hey....Take My Wife,,,Please......some Rodney Dangerfield Quotes...

It Must be a Slow Sunday...Here's some Rodney Dangerfield One-Liners....

A girl phoned me the other day and said... Come on over, there's nobody home. I went over. Nobody was home.

Rodney Dangerfield

I came from a real tough neighborhood. I put my hand in some cement and felt another hand.
Rodney Dangerfield

I drink too much. The last time I gave a urine sample it had an olive in it.
Rodney Dangerfield

I found there was only one way to look thin, hang out with fat people.
Rodney Dangerfield

I had plenty of pimples as a kid. One day I fell asleep in the library. When I woke up, a blind man was reading my face.
Rodney Dangerfield

I have good looking kids. Thank goodness my wife cheats on me.
Rodney Dangerfield

I remember the time I was kidnapped and they sent a piece of my finger to my father. He said he wanted more proof.
Rodney Dangerfield

I told my psychiatrist that everyone hates me. He said I was being ridiculous - everyone hasn't met me yet.
Rodney Dangerfield

My mother never breast fed me, she told me she only liked me as a friend.
Rodney Dangerfield

My psychiatrist told me I was crazy and I said I want a second opinion. He said okay, you're ugly too.
Rodney Dangerfield

On Halloween, the parents sent their kids out looking like me.
Rodney Dangerfield

One year they asked me to be poster boy - for birth control.
Rodney Dangerfield

When I was a kid my parents moved a lot, but I always found them.
Rodney Dangerfield

Yeah, I know I'm ugly... I said to a bartender, 'Make me a zombie.' He said 'God beat me to it.'

Maggotx ponders picking up his belongings and building a Disc Golf Course along with the LOST Eco-Tribe from Wales...!!!!

Lost middle-class tribe's 'secret' eco-village in Wales spotted in aerial photograph taken by plane

For five happy years they enjoyed simple lives in their straw and mud huts.

Generating their own power and growing their own food, they strived for self-sufficiency and thrived in homes that looked more suited to the hobbits from The Lord of the Rings.

Then a survey plane chanced upon the 'lost tribe'... and they were plunged into a decade-long battle with officialdom.

Yesterday that fight, backed by more modern support for green issues, ended in victory. The eco-community in the Preseli mountains of west Wales was set up in 1993 and lived contentedly away from the rat race round a 180-acre farm bought by Julian and Emma Orbach

In 1998, it was spotted when sunlight was seen glinting off a solar panel on the main building, which was built from straw bales, timber and recycled glass. When the pilot reported back, officials were unable to find any records, let alone planning permission, for the mystery hillside village surrounded by trees and bushes.

They insisted the grass-covered buildings should be demolished.

The eco-community endured a decade of inquiries, court cases and planning hearings.

The 22 villagers fought planners even when they were within hours of the bulldozers moving in to demolish their eight homes.

Now, however, they can celebrate, thanks to the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority's 'sustainability' policy.

With green issues now getting a more sympathetic hearing, the commune has been given planning approval for its roundhouses along with lavatories, agricultural buildings and workshops.

Community founder Emma Orbach, a 52-year-old mother of three, said yesterday: 'We are really excited and happy as it has been a very long battle.

'Even when planning inquiries and court hearings went against us we were determined to fight on.

'The villagers are pioneering a new lifestyle and are determined to prove it's possible for people to live more simply.'

Tony Wrench, 62, who lives in the original roundhouse with his partner Jane, said: 'We are very relieved and delighted.

'We have been able to prove to the planners that it is possible to have a sustainable and low-impact community in the countryside.

WOW....I Didn't see that coming.........

LINDSAY'S GAL PAL SAYS THEY'LL GET MARRIED THIS YEAR

First there were the matching tattoos, then the public declarations of love and now it seems Lindsay Lohan will marry her lesbian lover.

Just days after DJ Samantha Ronson announced at a gig that Lindsay would be her wife by the end of year, the Mean Girls star is sporting this sparkler on her wedding finger.

And while dad Michael thinks the pair are just seeking fame and attention – which getting married after dating for only a few months obviously proves wrong – mum Dina approves.

She was by Lindsay's side as the actress showed off the heart-shaped jewel at a Marie Claire party.
