Maggotx's Upcoming Disc Golf Weekends...!!!!!!

The Next Two Weeks will be tough for Maggotx......This weekend is the NJ DISC DEVILS Biggest Yearly Event The Jersey Jam....where I was lucky enough to place 1st in GrandMaster Division in 2007 and 2nd in GrandMaster Division 2008..

Television pitchman Billy Mays — who built his fame by appearing on commercials and infomercials promoting household products and gadgets — died Sunday.

Mays, 50, was found unresponsive by his wife inside his Tampa, Fla.,home at 7:45 a.m. on Sunday, according to the Tampa Police Department

William Darrell "Billy" Mays, Jr. (July 20, 1958 – June 28, 2009)^[3] was a television direct-response advertisement salesperson most notable for promoting OxiClean, Orange Glo, and other cleaning, home-based, and maintenance products. His distinctive beard and loud sales pitches made him a recognized television presence.^[4]

Mays was born in McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania, and began his career as salesman on the Atlantic City boardwalk. He traveled across the United States for 12 years, selling various items before he was hired to sell OxiClean and other products on the Home Shopping Network. His success as a TV pitchman led him to found Mays Promotions, Inc. On April 15, 2009, the Discovery Channel began airing Pitchmen, a documentary series that featured Mays. On the morning of June 28, 2009, Mays was found dead in his home by his wife.

Going to my Jobsite today I ran into an Uninvited Guest....A Monster Snapping Turtle......don't worry she was removed without being harmed...or harming us.....she was one pissed off Turtle..2.-foot ' long...!!!...(we think she was lookin for a place to lay her eggs...)

Last Weekend I particpated in the Great Eastern Amateur Disc Golf Tournament at Tyler State Park in Pennsylvania...

Discs...Anyone....??????

It was a Wonderfully run event due to the hard work of the Bucks County Disc Golf Alliance .......Congrats to Alan Sweeton.....playing in the Tournament in spite of his great difficulties with his cancer and treatment....You are an Inspiration to us ALL....!!!!!!.....

.In a Double screw up...Maggotx played poorly and the other Grandmaster participants played better...Congrats to Mike K and Tim F for placing 1st and 2nd respectively...you guys deserved it.....To slightly soften the blow of not placing in the top tier.....I did score a CTP (closest to pin) and won a regular Discraft Surge and Mini Disc for the Upcoming Vibram Championship to be held at Maple Hill Massachusetts this August.

Ingredients (serves 4)

• 8g sachet instant dried yeast
• pinch of salt
• 1 teaspoon caster sugar
• 3 cups plain flour
• 1/3 cup olive oil (see tip)
• 100g baby spinach
• 200g feta cheese, crumbled
• lemon wedges, to serve

Method

1. Combine 300ml warm water, yeast, salt and sugar in a jug. Stir with a fork. Cover. Stand in a warm, sunny place for 5 minutes or until bubbles form on the surface.
2. Sift flour into a large bowl. Add yeast mixture and 2 tablespoons oil. Mix to form a soft dough. Turn dough onto a lightly floured surface. Knead for 5 minutes or until elastic. Cut dough into 4. Place on a greased baking tray. Cover with a clean tea towel. Stand in a warm, sunny place for 20 minutes or until dough doubles in size.
3. Roll each piece dough into a 35cm x 45cm rectangle. Place one-quarter of spinach over half of each rectangle. Top with feta and season with salt and pepper. Fold dough over to enclose filling. Press edges together to seal.
4. Preheat a barbecue plate on medium-high heat. Brush one side of each gozleme with 2 teaspoons oil. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes or until base is golden. Brush uncooked side with remaining oil. Turn over and cook for 2 to 3 minutes or until golden and crisp. Remove to a serving plate. Cut gozleme into quarters. Serve with lemon wedges.
