This last Saturday Tim, Taint Mike, Sidearm Mike and I went to the Philly Open 2008 Disc Golf Tournament at Sedgely Woods, Fairmout Park PA. There were over 100 participants and it was a really well run PDGA Tier B event. I had the opportunity to have a great group which consisted of two other Ams, and two Pros. One was Glenn Patterson from Tyler State Park and the other was the renown Lesli Demark from Warwick, NJ.
It was a real treat watching Glenn and Lesli play (They both ended up winning their respective Divisions). Lesli is also sponsored by Millenium Discs,......my brand of choice....!!
Unfortunately I received a DNF (Did Not Finish) for the tournament because I had to miss the second round to be with Family visiting from out-of-state. Oh, well, there will be other Tournaments.
In between rounds they had a mini disc -golf tournament. Here is a picture of yours truly holding up a "mini" in front of a "mini" disc catcher....

Looks like a lot of fun! We have to meet at Sedgley Woods at some point and play a round.
So tell us, does size really matter?
Looks like y'all had a grrrrreat time! How often do any of us get to participate in a Pro anything. very cool.
that mini disc and catcher look pretty pathetic haha...dont worry about the DNF dad! Its better than a DSF (Didnt see family!!) :)
