I found this article amusing....but are things getting bad or what..????

New York Times Stock Now Costs Less Than Sunday Paper

Shares of NYT (NYT) dropped 29 cents today to close at $3.77. The Sunday paper goes for $4 at the newsstand.

Maybe they could save costs by printing the paper on their stock certificates.

No matter how you roll it out, paper is still expensive and precious...and stock certificates are especially pricey because of their heavy stock...my solution? Print the Times and all other newspapers out as napkins, papertowels, or better yet....toilet tissue!!!! Think of the paractical applications...or not! I do have to say, as much as I enjoy reading the Sunday Times, there are times when I would be very pleased to "write" my comments all over it and then flush it!

I think Mahk's got something there. It'll give people in the bathroom something to read, liberals will be happy about the green-friendly idea, and conservatives will finally get to say that it's only good for one thing...
