Finally,
someone admits that "there appears to be no compelling technical or business case for upgrading to these new Microsoft software products. Furthermore, there appears to be specific reasons not to upgrade." It's The United States Department of Transportation! For some reason, they've included Internet Ecplorer 7 and Office 2007 along with Vista.

Also, there might be no compelling need, but A-Holes like me and you love to play w/the NEW programs.....it's almost worth the cost.....
Wouldn't it be great if computers started coming with blank hard drives as an option? It makes sense to me. Ipods don't come preloaded with 1,000 songs.
Unfortunately, big businesses like Microsoft have the power to tell companies like Dell to shut their customers up when they bring up Linux.
